Calling all foodies: Canada’s largest food and drink festival is coming to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this April. Grab your food-loving mates, a date or anyone really (who doesn’t love delicious food and drink?), and head to the T.O. Food and Drink Fest for a celebration of the best culinary delights this city has to offer.
Running from April 22–24, the T.O. Food and Drink Fest is three epic days, jam-packed with incredible tastings, classes and pairings. Not to mention tasty beats bumping in the Delicious Vibes Lounge, where you’ll find different live DJs playing throughout the festival. Between stuffing your face with bites and sips, take a breather to bop to some tunes (and digest a little) before heading back out into the hustle and bustle of the show.
See Toronto’s top culinary talent in action onstage at the Chef Kitchen Sponsored by The AIR MILES Reward Program. Antler’s Micheal Hunter, Patois’s Craig Wong and Colibrí’s Elia Herrera are just a few names in this year’s stellar lineup. Watch them cook up incredible creations live onstage.
For a more hands-on experience, some of the event’s spirit partners, including Walters Caesar, Flor de Caña and Martini Fiero, will be hosting Shake it to Make it cocktail classes. Learn how to make two or more seasonal cocktails, discover how to pair ingredients and flavours for the perfect serve, and become a pro at mixology techniques.
If you’d rather do your sipping without all the stirring, head to the Wine Tasting Section, where you can try a variety of vino, perfectly paired with artisan cheeses by Savour Ontario, and meet the makers behind these incredible bottles.
Oh, and did we mention our favourite food truck vendors will be there too? Sop up all those drinks with a visit to Flavour Street, where you can get a taste of the city’s best food trucks.
