Here at Foodism, the only thing we love more than eating delicious food, is helping to ensure that food is accessible to everyone, especially those in need. Luxury clothing and accessory brand Michael Kors recently launched its Watch Hunger Stop 2021 campaign, entitled Food Is Love – There’s Always a Seat at the Table. The ongoing philanthropic initiative partners with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to support their goal of achieving Zero Hunger and providing meals to children in food insecure areas.

Working with local, small-scale farmers, the United Nations World Food Programme sources nutritious food for children in need, while also fostering more sustainable and resilient communities. With the help of Michael Kors and the Watch Hunger Stop campaign, WFP has provided more than 24 million school meals to children, to date. But the work doesn’t stop there.

This year’s campaign, the brand’s ninth, continues the initiative with a special-edition Watch Hunger Stop capsule, including a black hat, mask and t-shirt, all brandishing a beautiful red heart patch spelling out the word “love.” You can also find the WFP logo on each item. A cozy and comfortable wear, the t-shirt is made from 100 per cent recycled cotton, while the hat and mask add style (and heartfelt intention) to any outfit.

Available exclusively online, the sale of each Watch Hunger Stop LOVE t-shirt, hat or mask will go directly to helping children in need, with Michael Kors donating 100 per cent of the profits to WFP.

Rather than going out for yet another weekend dinner, put that money towards a meal that can really make a difference by purchasing any of the special items from the Watch Hunger Stop capsule. Once you’re kitted out in your new gear, post a selfie with the hashtag #WatchHungerStop — Michael Kors will donate 50 meals for every post. They’ve also created a special Share Your Heart Instagram filter. Use it and they’ll also donate 50 meals to WFP in your honour.

Shop the special-edition Watch Hunger Stop capsule now and start helping children in need.
