We’ve found that some of the best memories are made around food. Whether you’re sharing a meal at a family table, sampling tasty bites from a street vendor far away or ordering from your fave local business, food has the power to transport you anywhere.
Thankfully, you don’t need to purchase a plane ticket to enjoy memorable cuisines. Let Culinary Adventure Co. bring all the delicious grub, food tours and foodie experiences to you.
Since its inception in 2011, Culinary Adventure Co. has shown us the best food Toronto has to offer through their immersive neighbourhood tours. While in-person tours are still off the table, the pandemic can’t stop these gourmets from bringing you the best local eats they can find.
Their Food Tour In A Box series encapsulates each of Toronto’s unique culinary neighbourhoods — packed with local goods from Kensington Market all the way to Greektown, and delivered straight to your door. Paired with their online classes and events, these boxes make the perfect gift for your favourite foodie (even if that foodie happens to be yourself).
In 2020 alone, Culinary Adventure Co. put over $350,000 into the local food and drink industries of the communities they support. Now, in celebration of their ten year anniversary, this family-owned-and-operated business has some even more exciting plans on the menu.
As a toast to their big decade and all the small businesses that made it possible, Culinary Adventure Co. is partnering with some of their favourite artisans to bring us a year packed with brand new flavours and events.
For some Friday night fun, tune in to Canada’s biggest food and drink related trivia night with their monthly Food Fight Trivia Night, where you can win cash, prizes and, of course, bragging rights.
If you’re itching to get out of the house (and those pajamas), don’t miss their one-night-only Culinary Drive-In Adventure, where you can enjoy a multi-course meal while watching a movie somewhere other than your couch.
With so much to do, Culinary Adventure Co. also keeps your snack drawer well stocked with new products launching every month and made exclusively for their big anniversary celebration.
From scrumptious Rosemary + Orange Shortbread Cookies from The Shortbread Company in Cobourg, to addictive Orange Peel Stickinis (skinny cured sausages) from Caledon’s Salumeria Il Tagliere, you can expect to try some bold new flavours.
So while we wait for a time when we can share a big meal, or head out on a walking food tour with family and friends, Culinary Adventure Co. continues to make great memories over food, wherever we are.
