Need something to look forward to this winter that doesn’t involve babysitting a 13-pound turkey? Mark your calendars for SIP! Niagara’s epic food and drink festival on December 4th and 5th. Over the course of two jam-packed days (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.), the Niagara Benchlands region will light up with its first foodie festival in two years, which you won’t want to miss.
Highlighting all the best sips and serves from wineries, cideries, distilleries and breweries near and far, there’s snow better (see what we did there?) place to be for food and drink lovers than SIP! Niagara. Pair your vino or hand-crafted cocktails with delicious bites from local restaurants, chefs and food trucks in the heart of Ontario’s wine region.
Embracing the cold is so much better with a drink in hand, trust us. Or, skip winter entirely at one of their curated spaces like the Cozy Corner where you can enjoy gourmet Crank Coffee and Bottega Liqueurs. Bring the vacay vibes to you at SIP Beach where you can sip Carib Beer and listen to island tunes on a sandy “beach.”
If wine isn’t your thing, there are so many other ways to imbibe at SIP! Niagara. Over the weekend, the festival is aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the largest DIY caesar bar which will feature over 180 different ingredients for the most over-the-top personalized caesar ever.
Remember live music? SIP! Niagara has scored Toronto’s favourite cover band, Dwayne Gretzky (presented by Jose Cuervo), to headline the event. Dance and sing along to the sweet sounds of their feel-good, nostalgic songs like it’s 2019, again.
After you’ve helped break a Guinness World Record (congrats, btw), land a supporting role in the latest Amazon Prime series The Gastro Guru which will be filming an episode while you’re eating, sippin’ and being merry. So, what are you waiting for?
Follow @sip.niagara for all the event details and updates.
When: December 4 – 5
Where: Vineland Research and Innovation Center, 4890 Victoria Ave. N., Lincoln, Ontario
